Good bye OQO and good luck.

The OQO IP has been sold some months back,  To who I do not know the full story on yet. The domains are now gone as well to a new owner. If both IP and Domain owners are the same I do not know.   I think the plan is to make it look like nothing happened and OQO will go on? The site OQO.com is now back to some old content that was up a few days after the company folded. If you note the About page, Jory Bell has been removed, I think he did this him self some time ago hence I say it’s a copy after OQO folded.

New Owner oqo.com domain owner:
xiaochong zhou 2209 Tower B Tianyuan center North Road
East Ring Chaoyang Dist 100027 Beijing, China phone: +86.13911588030

For some time the OQO.com domain pointed at OQO.CC It now points at Jory Bell’s old server. I wonder what those guys are doing?

Update: now oqo.com is 404 I guess the index page got deleted?

Strange, OQO.com works for me. Takes me to the China site.

I hope some company comes along and makes OQO strong again. Posted on my website are several posts on the blog which detail how I find the OQO the most “current” device in my work.

FWIW oqo.com brings me to http://www.oqo.cc/ too.
I’m accessing it from outside of the US, so that might make a difference. If you recall, when OQO was still around, you needed to be on in US (or on a US proxy) to get to the US oqo.com homepage (versus the e2 page for international).
